If you are planning to visit Vigan make sure to visit Calle Crisologo, one of the few remaining cobblestone made streets in the Philippines. The City of Vigan was incribed by the UNESCO World Heritage List last November 1999, this City is world-renowned for its unique and outstanding development in urban planning, landscape design and architecture.

Vigan is a relatively small city with two hearts: the recreational and shopping area around the adjacent Plaza Salcedo and Plaza Burgos in the north, and the commercial centre around the public market in the south. The mestizo district is focused along Plaridel and Mena Crisologo Streets, running south from Plaza Burgos towards the cemetery.
