The will be times that no matter how hard you try to cut down your calorie intake, you still gain weight. Everybody should have a different weight loss preferences and methods. Some individual tends to burn fat slower and even small intake of food doesn’t work for them.
Diet books always say, you have to burn more calories than you eat in a day to create a calorie deficit and lose weight. This is true but what about weight loss plateaus and weight gain even when I do all the things I know I need to do to lose weight, including dieting and exercise to burn off more calories than I eat.
If you’ve ever tried to lose weight for any sustained period of time using the same routinary program - you may have hit a plateau. You lost some pounds, but suddenly the fat no longer disappears. The human body is incredibly adaptive, and will do its level best to maintain equilibrium (homeostasis).
